Redevelopment of 137 Frank Street, Strathroy - Municipal Service and Community Centre
The Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc is moving forward with the redevelopment of 137 Frank Street. The multi-phase project will transform the facility into a fully accessible, AODA-compliant space, including improved building access and accessible parking. Once complete, all customer service functions currently located at 52 Frank Street will be relocated to 137 Frank Street, which will become the Municipality’s primary customer service location.
The facility will include a customer service area, administrative office space, and flexible meeting areas to improve operational efficiency. Future phases will explore opportunities to incorporate community-oriented and alternative uses within the building as part of ongoing planning for the site and its long-term role in serving the community.

As development continues at 137 Frank Street, Phase 1 of the project is nearing completion, and we’re excited to announce that the new Customer Service Centre will open to the public on October 5, 2026.
The Phase 1 renovations have been designed with our residents and Customer Service team in mind, creating a more accessible, private and welcoming environment.
What’s New?
Some of the Phase 1 improvements at 137 Frank Street include:
A new accessible front entrance
- A completely redesigned Customer Service area to accommodate our growing team and better serve residents.

Staff also advised Council that the building's major systems continue to perform well. HVAC units are operating as intended, boiler repairs have been completed, and there are currently no water infiltration issues within the building.
