Fire Station Location Study

Operating from three stations with 78 volunteer firefighters, the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc Fire Department provides protection to the residents of Strathroy-Caradoc.

The fire service is vital to the community, providing protection from fire, life threatening emergencies, and dangerous conditions. The Department must be trained, equipped, and ready to respond to all types of situations. The task of completing a Fire Station Location Study is critical as the Municipality grows, ensuring the most efficient use of resources as the service continues to meet the demands of the community over the next five, ten, and twenty years.

This Fire Station Location Study involves a comprehensive review of existing fire services in Strathroy-Caradoc to identify the optimal location(s) for fire stations and alternative locations including the possible construction of a third fire sub-station, as well as possible other applicable service enhancements.
