The Municipality values your voice and involvement. The feedback you provide will help us identify the needs and priorities as the Municipality continues to have a constructive dialogue with the community that is open, transparent, accessible, and inclusive. This web page serves as the central hub for you to visit and receive ongoing project updates.

Employment Lands Study

Employment lands (also known as industrial lands) typically include a broad range of designated lands, including light, medium, and heavy industrial lands, business parks, and rural industrial lands. Employment lands form a vital component of a municipality's land-use structure and are an integral part of the local economic development potential of the Municipality.

The Employment Lands Strategy will provide an assessment of the employment land requirements over a 30-year horizon, including a detailed employment forecast and a review of designated employment lands. The review of the designated employment lands will consider the competitiveness of the designated land supply based on the regional area and the outlook for employment lands.
